Maybe I’m way wrong about this team

I feel like there is a massive disconnect between what Lions fans think of Alim and what the league thinks of Alim.

Valenti and Foster were so important to me growing up. It’s low hanging fruit to rip Valenti now and rightfully so unfortunately. Would you rather have Ben Johnson or Dan Campbell segment to open a Monday show is so bad that it actually breaks my heart.

The 2006 Notre Dame vs. Michigan State game brought us one of the best radio segments of all time

I think the fall off did come after Rico showed which really stinks. I wanted the show to work with Rico so bad. I just think there was something magical with Valenti/Foster and the subsequent Valenti solo show.

- Petzig was a great hire - Borom is unplayable - JPJ incoming - Goff looks great - TeSlaa has the makings of one of my least favorite player of the DC/BH era - Vaki is surprisingly playable - Kelvin Sheppard deserves a nice serving of blame

You gotta feel like when Detroit gets both safeties and 3/5th of their offensive line back they will be a lot better….

I hate being a bummer. I really liked joking around and making light of it all. I never wanted to be the guy that think Eastern Michigan can never be good. I don’t think that. They can be good. It’s time to put the pressure on. I care about this program deeply. I want more.

WMU cares about winning football games. Made the difficult decision to fire a head coach who had a WINNING RECORD and was a beloved alumni. Eastern Michigan does not care and that really sucks. 13 years. One bowl win.

I’m obv not going to be very active talking Eastern Michigan football anymore for a number of reasons but I figured I would give some thoughts before things get rolling. - if this team finishes in the middle of the MAC as it seems most predict, it’s over.

- it’s awesome that they were able to bring back so many guys from last season. It’s the only reason I think it’s not a crime that we didn’t get Mr/Mrs Outside Hire at both OC/DC. - I would build a CC statue but if they do not win a bowl game this year, I’m out on him.

- despite all that, I don’t think it’s insane to think they could make a run at the conference. Experienced team, lotta returning guys. - 9 wins including a bowl win :)
