We conducted a breast cancer screening camp for the faculty of RKVM College, Shimla, along with a breast cancer awareness and self-breast examination session for students, in collaboration with @ShooliniUniv .
Together, we screened 48+ women and reached 450+ students with essential knowledge about breast health, early detection and knowing your normal.
Because early awareness can lead to timely action. And every conversation can make a difference.

Sometimes, the biggest barrier to screening is taking the first step.
We brought oral cancer awareness and screening closer to an underserved community in Gurugram, with a focus on tobacco-related risks.
The camp highlighted the need for stronger conversations around tobacco use, risk awareness and the importance of regular screening, even before symptoms appear.
Knowing your risk is important. Acting on it is even more important.

Healthcare availability is only the first step. Access makes early detection possible.
In collaboration with the Eeraya Foundation, we conducted a community-based breast cancer awareness and screening camp in an underserved settlement in Gurugram.
The experience highlighted how household responsibilities, work commitments and limited decision-making autonomy can prevent women from prioritising their health.
It reinforced an important lesson: early detection begins with awareness, autonomy, accessibility and the support to seek care.
