I’d wear this hat.
Ever since I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a <national trust bank>

“Ramp is a technology company. Banking services proved by Ramp National Trust Bank”
On Friday, Ramp submitted an application to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Ramp National Trust Bank.  If approved, the charter would allow the trust bank to offer fiduciary investment management and custody of digital assets.  The proposed trust bank would bring these services under a consistent federal regulatory framework, helping us build great products alongside our banking partners to further our mission to save businesses time and money. It will not take deposits or make commercial loans.

Price is a feature. Staying approved is the product. Merchants who’ve been dropped before don’t compare bps. They compare who’ll still be there after the first chargeback spike.
Lol pricing in fintech isn't a race to the bottom. Pricing for boring, simple merchants is. The merchants nobody else will underwrite don't shop on bps, they shop on "will my processor still be here in 90 days.” Whole different ballgame.

So offended by this quarter zip, I can’t even begin to tell explain how far you’ve taken things…

we use Serper and Exa today for search in some of our underwriting agents. going to play with this over the weekend. will benchmark DeepSeek against both and see if it can match or beat our current results. the pricing is pretty compelling

Money2020 packing list: -3 pairs of shoes -0 plans to walk the expo floor -One question for every agentic commerce panel: who eats the dispute? (Also what is your current revenue?) So maybe 2 questions.

lots to figure out with agentic commerce! if my agent pays with its own virtual card, what happens to my AMEX points? dunno if i'm ready to give up my next vacation just to potentially save a few clicks at checkout.
When your consumer agent creates a virtual card on their own BIN to transact on your behalf, consumer won't get the credit card rewards. Gotta imagine there will be some blowback there.

Well that’s awkward.
ANTHROPIC’S IPO VALUATION EXPECTATIONS DROP FROM $2 TRILLION TO $1.5 TRILLION Some investors are considering a $1.5 trillion valuation for Anthropic’s upcoming IPO, down 25% from earlier expectations of $2 trillion. Anthropic reported $16.8 billion in Q3 revenue, up 45% quarter-over-quarter, but growth slowed sharply after revenue more than doubled in Q2. The company also reported adjusted profitability for the quarter. The key concern: Slowing revenue growth and rising AI infrastructure costs could weigh on one of the most anticipated IPOs. I feel like we can sum all 7 up with this hat
The single best predictor of founder success we’ve seen, above all else, is raw determination. Across the 100+ successful founders we’ve interviewed, we identified 7 signals that measure this: (1) A history of being under-estimated. There was always someone early in their life who doubted them, whether that be a sibling, parent, teacher or colleague. (2) Lifelong iconoclasts. Never fit in with the group. Quirky tastes in hobbies, music, food that others find unusual. (3) Some evidence of prior failure. Whether that be previous companies, product launches or career pivots, they always failed at least once (and often multiple times). (4) Irrationally optimistic. If their lead engineer quits or a funding round fails or a key customer churns, they are never pessimistic and never lose hope. Always glass half full. (5) Lack of financial motives. The desire to succeed was never driven by money. Cash served as a scorecard and nothing else. (6) Funding struggles. Almost all struggled with early funding rounds, but did not give up in the face of capital scarcity. Lack of capital forced discipline. (7) Institutional rejection. They were almost always rejected by a top institution early in their career (sports team, school, college or company).

Your host runs your servers. Your bank runs your banking. Payments is the rare infrastructure that hands the risk back to you. Chargebacks, fraud, compliance: yours by default. Is there a real reason it has to work this way?

we started building frameOS in January. ~90 days later, our first accounts were live. six months ago we had 16 accounts. now we're over 60,000. processing volume driven by these accounts is up 895% in the last 60 days alone. the idea behind frameOS is simple. compliance and financial services have operated in separate silos, despite being dependent on each other. we built them into the same system. an account can represent a user, business, or platform. each has capabilities to move money across cards, bank accounts, and wallets, which unlock as verifications like KYC, KYB, adverse media, and geo-compliance pass. we're powering use cases across prediction markets, creator platforms, telemedicine, vertical SaaS, ISVs, and more. compliance shouldn't sit alongside financial infrastructure. it should be part of the infrastructure itself.

launched payments and compliance infra for one of the largest festival aggregators and the biggest professional motorcycle road racing championship in the US this week. event travel and ticketing is starting to become a meaningful vertical for Frame. our underwriting team and Ralfi (our AI underwriter homie) apparently have a very diverse taste in entertainment maybe we’ll see a furry convention next?

A big AI risk is AI civil lawsuits are about to flood the courts like AI apps did the App Store. This is a pretty clear bait & switch false advertising lawsuit that could be filed against StockX by this dude, an Ai agent could pretty much handle all of this at no cost
Yo @stockx yall system glitched and charged me the wrong price. The Jordan 4 London was priced at $10. After I hit purchase the price charged me $435. I need this order canceled before I contact my banking institution and dispute the charge. Honor the $10 purchase or cancel order
