What an incredible week in Dubai at the Arab Media Summit!
We are thrilled to partner with the Dubai Films and Games Commission to build the future of gaming in one of the fastest-growing ecosystems in the world. Together, we’re empowering video game developers, studios, and publishers to take their businesses to the next level.
gamescom's a wrap.
Nearly every booth conversation came back to the same idea: the PC game studios with real momentum are the ones investing in direct relationships with the players who already love their game.
Selling direct complements the storefronts you already sell on. And the relationship it builds is yours to keep.
A direct channel is only as strong as the community behind it. That's why we brought Community Hub to gamescom: a home for your community, built into Xsolla Publishing Suite.
Quests, content sharing, and Loyalty Points your players spend right back in your store.
gamescom got you thinking about going direct? You don't have to wait for the next show to get started 👇

For most studios, D2C still means the Web Shop. And it should, since that's the foundation. But it's no longer the only place D2C can happen.
The studios pulling ahead in 2026 are treating their Web Shop as the center of something wider, with Bot in Discord, Bot in Telegram, Offerwall, and creator affiliate links all extending their reach to where players already spend time.
Each channel reaches players in a different context, and when they share the same catalog, identity, and analytics, each new one adds compounding value rather than complexity.
Our latest piece breaks down all four, what they're good for, and how they work together.

🔔 In Cyprus, only 14% of PC and console revenue came through traditional storefronts last year.
The other 86% came from direct sales, and it adds up to a €1.4 billion market that has effectively nailed direct-to-player on PC.*
Cyprus is a concentrated market with a few very large live-service publishers, so the split is sharper there than in most places. Yet, that is what makes it worth looking at: it shows what a direct channel looks like once it is mature and running at scale, complementing traditional storefronts rather than replacing them.
If a direct sales channel is still a "maybe later" for your PC game, this data is a good reason to move it up the list.
Xsolla Publishing Suite gives PC game studios their own game store, a launcher with custom branding, and payments in every market you sell in, all while you keep up to 95% of every sale.
