I'm not expecting next-gen consoles to cost less than $1000, and I think the reality is that next-gen will be an enthusiast-only console. Current-gen consoles will probably be supported for the next 10 years because next-gen will never have enough volume on its own to release next-gen-only titles and make those games profitable.
