There's truth in this.
This is the truth. I went full time because the company I worked for declared bankruptcy. Only had about $100k saved up. Medical emergency wiped out about $50k and then a horrible run with a certain cloud copier wiped out another $25k.
This was in 2024-2025. I’ve barely been hanging on since then. I apply for jobs regularly but the job market in Detroit is weak.
Affiliate sales help me stay afloat during months like August where I’m not making enough from trading... Barely.
I refuse to be an affiliate who promotes shady firms. I’m not going to launch a mentorship or paid discord because I don’t think I’m a good enough trader.
When you see traders on here flaunting the good life — know that they’re doing something else on the side for income. Very few are actually profitable from trading alone.
I’m still determined to make it work and I refuse to bend my moral compass to do so. But the sacrifices are very hard.
TL;DR: Don’t give up your day job to be a full time trader until you have 3-4 years of salary saved.

I’m booked to be on the @flyairpeace flight from Douala to Lagos today. I checked in online. I was at the counter 1 hour 15 minutes to the departure and I was told I can’t fly because I’m late. How can I be late when I’ve already checked in etc? I’m in Douala and can’t get a flight out of Douala today. This is frustrating. I’ve never experienced this in my entire travelling history.
