Labor savings at this site alone is substantial. A staffed small pizza counter running 16 hours with 2–3 people at about $20 an hour is roughly $230,000–$350,000 a year in wages
If a company did this nationwide:
- 500 of these kiosks would save about $100–150 million a year in gross labor avoided
- 1,000 of these kiosks would save about $200–300 million a year gross
You wanted to get paid a professional wage for working fast food and now the result is you won’t even have a job
