Threadguy says $JUP is a cursed coin and there's no bull case for Jupiter "Why is JUP unbiddable? It trades so bad...I've gotten cucked in this coin so many times and it's just cursed and at this stage what's the point using Jupiter?" "Shout out to meow it's a great product I've used it many many times but at this stage what's the bull case for Jupiter usage it's like there isn't one"

If you staked 10,000 JUP, you could’ve turned $500 into ~$3,300 at $WET’s ATH - during the last DTF sale. That’s the kind of JUP staking utility I’d love to see make a comeback 👇 We haven’t seen another Jupiter DTF launch since December last year. My guess is that bluechip projects have been waiting for a better market to launch. If DTF returns this cycle, I’d like to see some changes: → Give every eligible staker a minimum allocation → Let larger stakes qualify for more → Move the public presale allocation into the staker pool The WET sale was FCFS. Staking JUP gave you a chance, but no guarantee you’d get in. The next launch should reward stakers for staking, not for clicking fastest.

My lawyer, JUP should be as scarce as possible. ASR is still diluting the token. It’s not hard to learn from MET’s staking rewards, HYPE’s burn mechanism, and BP’s staking utilities — combine the best ideas and build something powerful for JUP. Give the final Jupuary airdrop. Let the farmers and non-believers take their tokens, sell, and leave. Then reward the long-term JUP stackers as aggressively as possible. People will always ask for free money. “Where is my promised Jupuary?” — the carrots 🥕 Meow announced. But the price of the mistakes made over the last two years has been paid by long-term holders. It’s been two years, and JUP is sitting around $0.30. That hurts. Please don’t repeat the same mistakes we’ve already made for the last two years. Make JUP scarce. Make staking meaningful. Make long-term conviction matter. — A sincere JUP lover & stacker ❤️

👀 $JUP Wassie, some ideas I have been thinking about: - unlock rev share with a certain minimum (loyal) period of staking threshold condition. - add some airdrop allocation in the mix, to piss off the migrants. - reward loyal long term believers of the project with discounted trading fees protocol benefits/boons. - don't burn any tokens, let's not socialize the scarcity effect. Feel free to dm me if you want a second opinion on the consensus or disagreement which you have with Meow on specific topics regarding this matter.
A lot of anger today on the TL re the @Kinetiq_xyz airdrop. Somewhat interesting timing, because @weremeow and myself have spent the better part of the last 2 months discussing alignment and tokens re @JupiterExchange. And @weremeow and @0xOmnia are the two most 'community'-first mavericks I know. Some personal thoughts. I often think of blockchain project ecosystems as nation states. For instance when America was founded, there was a social contract between the founding fathers who led the revolution and the revolutionaries who risked live and limb to make it happen. In the case of a TGE, its the creation of a social contract between the team and the first airdrop recipients. The pioneering generation (team and airdrop recipients) had to work together to create something based on trust. In crypto projects, you trust the team to use an early stage product and in return the team gives you a share of the ecosystem. Initial airdrops fairly done are always beautiful. The community shares in the fruits of their labor and the team commits to a future roadmap. The airdrop recipients can either choose to move on, or lock in together to build for the future. But airdrop two is always hellish. There simply is no good way of doing a second airdrop. Maybe @chameleon_jeff can figure something out. But literally nobody has done it. If I had to take a guess, it would be to disproportionately drop more to those who had staked day one and continued using the project - but this would simply lead to screams of unfairness. Because it is unfair. Its PvP between the pioneers and the immigrants - the immigrants being those who came after the project was successful. The immigrants didn't have to take the risk of project failure, or shitty smart contracts. You literally have a liquid trading token as a reference price or calculating your EV. You see nation states deal with this in a variety of ways. Immigrants have to pay more to reap the benefits of the existing infrastructure. Naturalisation processes to ensure immigrants have to actually put down roots to become citizens, rather than extract benefits and leave. Immigration is an unsolved problem - even in the real world today. The recurring question, asked by every visionary blockchain community founder today is how do I permissionlessly create long term alignment with long term people? Kinetiq's way of doing it is in my biased opinion as a friend and angel, brilliant, all things considered. I'd perhaps have gone further by extending the exercise window to say a year by paying a price, rather than creating a 10 day window (which pins price and may just lead to a lot of people not exercising). The reason being you have very few options when doing a second airdrop as a founder. These are the common ones I've seen. 1. Airdrop size similar to first airdrop. Farmers dump on the long-term holders (the most important group). Opportunist tourists gain at the expense of the risk-taking pioneers. Jupiter did this and the community suffered immensely for it. 2. Airdrop size smaller than first airdrop. Farmers dump (less), and incessantly bitch about how unfair everything is. Long-term holders still eat pain. 3. Extend points season forever. Cynically, probably the most effective but very bad for the soul. But you could theoretically just keep delaying points and people will keep using the protocol because of sunk cost. I personally think the @Kinetiq_xyz mechanism isn't bad at all, because a wide drop of zero cost basis tokens is untenable and frankly, retarded. If I designed an airdrop mechanism, I'd probably go for an incredibly heavy weight towards long-term stakers, perhaps even disqualify non-stakers altogether. Or here's some free tokens, stake and continue using the protocol to unlock (@shufflecom did something like this on their first airdrop). Would probably piss people off anyway. There will be a lot of anger at @0xOmnia on the timeline for this. But a lot of that anger will be from people that matter less. The real pain (from experience in the Jupiter seat) is placating the short-termers at the expense of the long-termers. Because those are the people that really matter. Obv usual disclaimer that nothing I say is representative of Jupiter / Kinetiq etc. Personal opinions etc.

👀 $JUP BIG NEWS. Stakers/token/airdrop direction update: "We had some ideas but Meow wants to crowdsource them with community so bear with us will prob open a specific forum for discussion soon (cat willing)." - @wassielawyer. Nothing 100% set in stone, but the work is in progress! HIGHERRRRRRRRR 🤝

People had the chance to buy $JUP under 20c for months. Most didn’t take it. Feels like any JUPuary/airdrop talk is just cope at this point. Just burn the remaining tokens and be done with this discussion forever.

New perps for $JUP is highly relevant. The key question for me: has Jupiter actually confirmed that 100% of GUM trading fees count as protocol revenue and therefore 50% flow into Litterbox buybacks? If yes, that’s the real game changer here. I think so.

Trading Perps on Jupiter just got a LOT cheaper 🪐 The new GUM markets now undercut Hyperliquid’s base fees 👀 Here’s the comparison: → 0.035% taker fee vs 0.045% on Hyperliquid → 0.005% maker fee vs 0.015% → No separate base, price-impact or borrow fee → Hourly funding instead Hyperliquid’s fees can drop with trading volume & HYPE staking. But at base tier, regular traders now pay less on Jupiter’s six new markets. BTC, SOL & ETH continue using JLP, with higher leverage and take-profit/stop-loss tools. GUM gives Jupiter a lower-fee orderbook model for a wider range of assets. A major step forward for Jupiter Perps 🪐

Jupiter is the Amazon of onchain finance it might seem like some products don't fit a company like Jupiter but that's a flawed take. Jupiter thesis is simple: aggregate EVERYTHING onchain. tokens, stocks, meme coins, gacha, RWAs etc. it cannot be picking sides just like how Amazon didn't pick sides. they created a platform where sellers can put forward their best deal to the consumers. it became a trillion dollar company because it solved one basic problem: give the best option to the consumer among 100s of potential options. @JupiterExchange literally does the same for crypto. now coming to the $JUP token, there's been a lot of advice by CT in general. i don't really want to add more to that. to me, as long as there is a direct co-relation b/w the protocol making money and that being tied to $JUP in some way or form, i am happy. currently we have that w the @litterboxtrust also the net zero emissions clearly helped the token sentiment this year. the staking % hit an ATH, the token price has stabilized and holder sentiment has been net positive. the only thing lacking is the integration of $JUP into the platform itself, it might seem like an easy fix but it's probably not. for ex: using $JUP to get an express verification for tokens was a pretty cool implementation. Jupiter needs to continue shipping like it always does bec by being the infra layer, you benefit when Solana and any product integrating Jupiter does well. i am thoroughly excited about Jupiters next phase, i.e aggregate everything EVERYWHERE, which means assets outside of Solana as well. i think this will happen with @gumonchain as someone who has always dreamed of supporting good projects, i feel Jupiter is one such project that deserves the praise. not saying everything they do is right, but the intent is always to provide the end user with the best experience. up and onwards @kashdhanda @weremeow

It’s been almost 2 years since I first shared that solana:JUPyiwrYJFskUPiHa7hkeR8VUtAeFoSYbKedZNsDvCN needed more perps. Back then, Jupiter was dominant with almost zero competition. Fast forward to today, and everything has changed. Even solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 volume is lower than that of the major perps competitors. solana:JUPyiwrYJFskUPiHa7hkeR8VUtAeFoSYbKedZNsDvCN needs to make a comeback (GUM). We don’t need more gacha or prediction modules. We need perps and one major Solana launchpad that can take over. PS: Consider a partnership with @MeteoraAG and @embercurvefun. Just saying.

It’s time for solana:JUPyiwrYJFskUPiHa7hkeR8VUtAeFoSYbKedZNsDvCN to make one last vote for 2026. The vote is simple: Terminate solana:27G8MtK7VtTcCHkpASjSDdkWWYfoqT6ggEuKidVJidD4 once and for all, create one powerful token, and increase buybacks to the moon. Investors will love that and, hopefully, start seeing some healing. Right now, it looks like the product is divided between two tokens, which makes no sense. We’re not Google with Class A and Class C shares. We need to be more serious here, I guess.
Buybacks are CRAZY right now $HYPE — 99% revenue $PONS — 80% revenue $STONK — 60% revenue $PUMP — 50% revenue $JUP — 50% revenue STONK and PONS are ahead of PUMP in daily buybacks on a much smaller mcap Here’s how much they’re buying back on average per day:

Again scalpable long, but personally again not too interested. Longed a lot from 60k -> 66k, now mostly shorted from 66k back down to 63k's so far. Discipline to keep winning.

A Message for @JupiterExchange & @weremeow The $JUP team seems to be doing everything in their power to trigger the community. We are essentially paying for a new CEO who appears totally incapable of performing basic tasks. It is time for a change in leadership. @weremeow, you need to take this situation much more seriously. The project is currently defined by: 👉Broken Promises: Constant shifts in dates and deadlines. 👉Poor Balance Sheet Management: Mismanagement that has led to nothing but frustration and a damaged reputation for $JUP. It’s time for a major pivot. The current model simply isn't working it’s so obvious even an elementary school student could see it. We have the best product in the market, yet we can't seem to reach the multi-billion dollar valuation the tech deserves. Major competitors like @Titan_Exchange (and others) are coming for our market share. If we don't act now, we will lose billions in value and a significant portion of the community. You must take action immediately. This isn't a joke $JUP is collapsing. You are either going to change course now, or this will end like the Titanic. You can see the iceberg right in front of you will you steer away, or keep heading straight for it?

The recent surge in $HYPE is impossible to ignore, and $JUP needs to take notes. Their model allocating 97% of revenue to buybacks and successfully bringing billions on-chain by listing precious metals like Gold and Silver is a masterclass in value accrual. 1. The Buyback Strategy I find it incomprehensible that anyone, including leadership, would suggest stopping buybacks now. If we adopted the $HYPE strategy, committing to aggressive buybacks paired with a conservative 20% annual revenue growth the price of $JUP could realistically exceed $11 by 2030. 2. Expanding Market Reach We are far too late in adding from traditional markets We need: Precious Metals: Gold, Silver, and Copper Equities: High-volume global stocks Options: On-chain options trading for these assets The math for 2026 is simple: More Pairs + More Fees = Higher Revenue If the team had listened to my proposal months ago, we would already be outperforming every other DEX in the space 3. The Timeline for the "Fresh Start" The buybacks should not only continue but become more aggressive. This "Fresh Start" should officially trigger immediately following the token unlocks stops on January 1, 2027 This is the only viable solution to ensure long-term dominance

One thing I genuinely don’t understand about the JUP airdrop logic. Why is 175M JUP allocated to users, while only 25M goes to stakers again? This was done in previous Jupuary as well, and the reasoning still isn’t clear to me. Users are important, they use the products and generate fees. But stakers are the ones who believed early, locked capital, voted, supported the DAO, and held through uncertainty. By this logic, users are considered far more valuable than stakers. So what does that say about holding the token? Does holding and staking JUP no longer matter? Does long-term belief in the token and the team carry less weight than short-term usage? If users and holders are not treated as equals, then holding JUP starts to lose its meaning. I’d really like to understand the logic behind rewarding users so much more than the people who actually invested, staked, and supported JUP as a token and as a DAO.

This is more than financial advice at this point. Do not put money into $JUP if you haven’t already learned the lesson. People need to understand one thing clearly. This is nothing more than a large airdrop farming machine, where early investors participate together with the JUP team, extracting value and dumping on long-term holders. The team is once again trying to manipulate sentiment and restore belief in a token they themselves dumped and destroyed. You will see many influencers suddenly speaking positively about it. Writing long threads. Sharing bullish takes. Acting confident. Most of them are paid, incentivized, or protecting their own positions. Do not fall for it. Do not be naive and do not keep using JUP products thinking you will somehow win. You won’t. You will lose money while they earn fees, and you will keep hearing the same cycle of lies and unprofessional behavior. There are many other tokens in the market right now with far better risk and reward, and I am confident most of them will outperform Jupiter. Jupiter taught everyone on Solana one important lesson. You cannot blindly trust anyone in crypto, and yes, anyone can deceive you. Stay sharp. Protect your capital. Learn from history instead of repeating it.
