Manchester United have made checks on Lewis Hall as they assess left-back options, as previously reported on @talkSPORT.
Not a new target, as Manchester United have been tracking the Newcastle left-back for some time, but no club-to-club contact yet.
Newcastle would still like Hall to sign fresh terms, while the player will seek clarity over his role under new manager Matthias Jaissle.🏴

As an engineer, #NTUsg graduate Evonne Ng is no stranger to solving problems. But as the Renaissance Engineering Programme (REP) valedictorian and recipient of the Koh Boon Hwee Scholars Award, she believes some of the most meaningful solutions begin with people.
During her time at NTU, Evonne helped re-establish the REP's partnership with the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), launching the Buddy Tutoring programme that paired student volunteers with underprivileged primary school children through one-to-one mentoring.
One of her first buddies, a Primary 5 student, left a lasting impression on her. They first met during the COVID-19 pandemic through the Buddy Tutoring programme, when all lessons were held online. Despite the challenges of remote learning, the young student attended every session, eager to learn and always willing to share what was happening in her life.
Those conversations reinforced Evonne's belief that mentoring is about more than academics. It is about building trust, confidence and meaningful connections.
Alongside her community work, Evonne excelled academically, making the Dean's List and representing NTU in competitions including the Shell Imagine the Future Scenarios Competition and the SMU FinTech Case Competition.
Now an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at @HTX, the #NTUsgClassof2026 graduate hopes to continue applying technology to solve real-world challenges while never losing sight of the people it is designed to serve.

🚨 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗭𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Manchester United remain the only Premier League 'Big Six' club to have never signed a £100 million player.
The club has spent over £2.1 billion on transfer fees since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, but has never broken the £100m barrier.

Curiosity turned career: A machine learning research project through the CN Yang Scholars Programme, where #NTUsg students pursue interdisciplinary learning and research, sparked Kim Minseo's interest in programming while he was studying chemical engineering at #NTUsg.
Building on that early interest, the #NTUsgClassOf2026 graduate honed his skills through mentorship from an NTU alumnus and software entrepreneur, self-directed learning, and internships at a fintech startup and GovTech – paving the way for his career as a technology-track management associate at @dbsbank.
"I'm grateful that NTU gave me the freedom to explore, stumble and eventually find my footing, in my own way and in my own time," Minseo shared.
