News flash they were users, the ones generating revenue for jup to be able to make money off fees to be able to buy back and actually succeed.
Lost the trust of the users, lost a huge amount of future revenue, fooled all the “stakers” into thinking they were the important ones and got them to vote their way.
In a highly competitive market filled with great products, giving away market share over such a small airdrop was the dumbest move in a long time.

I paid over $100k fees even though if I'm getting an airdrop I will still not get this much $Jup maybe just 20k jup that's it and I support the Airdrop option cause JUPITER team promised that so people trade more on Jupiter and they can earn more fees which is absolutely ridiculous cause they didn't do what they promised

If Option 2 goes through, it is literally @kashdhanda and @weremeow putting the massive middle finger up to the fee paying users on @JupiterExchange
You cannot;
1. Blame the market conditions for a re vote
2. A DAO decision to vote for Jupuary 14 months ago when through and this does not mean you get to overturn that vote because you have more ‘stakers’ or changes in who voted back then to now. It literally does not work like that at all. You could have done this revote prior to extending the snapshot date but no, you got greedy.
You don’t go extending a snapshot date by a further 2 months and then reinstate the DAO to put them at fault for Jupuary not going through. Postponement indefinitely means they can never do it and it will go to another vote one day to abandon/cancel it. Trust me, i wouldn’t put it past them to try this.
Furthermore, you know the additional 500m (200m bonus pool for 2027 - those who chooses to stake) and (300m for Jupnet Incentives) - with Option 2, they will completely remove this. Yes, if Jupuary ever happens then it will only be 200m and no bonus pool of 200m.
This would probably sign off the wavering support by fee paying users to @JupiterExchange if this goes through.
