What happens when someone stops paying? We tested it on chain. 3 members, 10 USDC a round. Carol stopped on purpose. Round 1: her deposit covered it. Round 2: it became her debt. Round 3: the debt came out of her pot. Everyone ended with what they started with. #XPRNetwork

The honest limit: if someone stops paying after they already took the pot, there is nothing left to hold back. Then the loss falls on those still waiting. That is what the deposit (1 to 3 rounds) and the public default record are for. Save with people you know.

You get back exactly what you put in. So why do millions save in circles? Timing. 5 friends pay 100 a month. Each month one takes the pot of 500. Alice gets 500 in month 1: an interest-free loan from friends. Eve saves for 5 months and gets it all at once. #XPRNetwork
