Watch the trailer for @HORRORNOIREFILM, my @Shudder documentary, premiering in Feb 2019. Our film examines the history of Black Americans in the most influential genre of cinema today. This is my first feature length film & I'm unbelievably proud of what we've made #HorrorNoire

It’s important to see black filmmakers control their narratives within horror. Without their unique perspective, a slew of auteur, groundbreaking films would’ve never been made.
Bill Gun - Ganja & Hess
Jordan Peele - Get Out
Kasi Lemmons - Eve’s Bayou
William Crain - Blacula

To all my filmmakers: @Berlin_Talents, The Berlin International Film Festival's talent development program for emerging filmmakers and series creator is open to submit.
I highly recommend any creators who are looking for development programs check it.

I'm also recommending you research and contact @diversencannes too. It's an amazing program ran by Yolanda B., who's made it a part of her mission to help emerging filmmakers of color. Also, she's the person who told me about the opportunity above.

This shouldn’t be a shock, but there are #black #horror #filmmakers in Hollywood. It’s sad some folks get upset when we talk honestly about our experiences in the business. @HorrorMovieCast @Shudder @horrornoirefilm #BlackLivesMatter
Hey, Shudder. You lost this subscriber due to our ep in support of #BLM (🔈 bit.ly/38armw6) with folks like the Producer of Horror Noire and Writer of Final Destination speaking on horrors facing Black Americans. We stand by the ep and are confident we have your support.
Just wanted to say it’s appreciated you stuck to your principles on this. It’s never great when you lose a fan, but if being pro-black lives would cause someone to stop supporting you, that’s not a fan you should ever want anyway.

Right now, @Netflix is hosting a panel with black creatives in the animation industry. It's dope hearing all of these people speak up about their experience. If you've got some time right now, I def recommend hopping on to listen.
