To take some risk off: choose Short / Sell, enter part of your size, tick Reduce only, review, submit. A reduce-only order can only shrink the position. It can't flip it or add to it.
The position row updates in place: size, value, margin and PnL. ROE is unrealized PnL over the margin in use, so the number means exactly that.
Want out completely? Close sends a reduce-only market order for the full size with a 0.5% slippage cap. If it only partly fills, the rest stays open, and the dialog tells you so before you confirm.

The Empire mobile app is in development, with iOS users getting access first and Android following afterward.
We’re building the app alongside many of our partners, bringing the Empire experience to mobile with the care and attention it deserves.
This goes beyond adapting the platform to a smaller screen. We’re thinking through how people will use Empire on the go, how each interaction should work, and how to make the experience feel intuitive from the moment you open the app.
Testing is a major part of that work. We’re putting the app through different scenarios, from everyday use to more demanding conditions and unexpected situations, to identify and resolve issues before launch.
Our goal is to deliver a stable, reliable experience from day one. That means taking the time to test, refine, and address problems throughout development, with our partners contributing to the process.
We’re also building a foundation that can evolve alongside EmpireX. As the ecosystem grows, the app needs room for new features, additional integrations, and improvements shaped by how our community uses the platform.
The first release is the beginning of that journey. Development will continue after launch, with user feedback helping us decide what to improve and where to focus next.
We’ll share more about development, testing, and availability as we get closer to release.

The flow is three steps: deposit collateral, borrow, manage the loan.
Most of the engineering sits in what happens before you sign.
Three checks per market
The issuer, the price feed and the contracts are verified on-chain.
A ticker symbol alone proves nothing.
If the issuer or the price can't be verified, borrowing is blocked. Repaying stays open.
A simulation for every step
The borrow amount is checked against the market's liquidity and your verified collateral capacity.
A simulated step expires within 30 seconds. After that it checks again.
After the loan
Collateral, debt, LTV and the estimated liquidation price stay in view.
Repay and withdraw collateral from the same screen.
Borrowing accrues variable interest, and collateral can be liquidated.

Here's what happens under the hood.
1. The funding route
USDG on Robinhood Chain → USDC on HyperEVM → your Hyperliquid trading account.
Every hop is its own transaction, confirmed in your own wallet.
Approvals are for the exact amount, never unlimited.
2. Bridge state
Each bridge step is journaled per wallet with its nonce and tx hash, so a closed tab doesn't lose a transfer in flight.
3. The trading session
One signature authorizes a temporary API wallet for 4 hours.
Its key is generated in your browser and lives only in tab memory. It's never stored, logged or sent to our server. Reload and it's gone.
4. Tribute
