Our school had a spelling bee when I was in the fifth grade, the opening rounds were held in each classroom, so Mrs. Tyus was asking us the words.
Mrs. Tyus said "Spell flow."
I said "Flow, F-L-O-W, Flow."
She said, "No, no, no... not flow (and she was waving her arms), spell flow" (as she stomped on the floor.) I was out on the first word, which was Floor, F-L-O-O-R. True story.
This concludes my presentation on the quality of the Alabama public school system in the 1990's. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

I want to personally thank Chuck Norris for allowing humanity and our entire existence to continue going after he passed away. I can't imagine the amount of restraint it must have taken Chuck to spare our lives.
