Netflix cleared $13.65 billion in net income this year. Up 33%. So naturally they’re celebrating by laying off 1,000 people. 6% of their workers that built those profits. All to save a little extra cash for shareholders. Apparently $13.65 billion isn’t enough for these ghouls.

Joe Rogan: What Trump stood for, some of it turned out to not be real. Like 'no wars.' We're at a war with Iran, so that wasn't real. And it's nuts to just give someone a $50,000 ICE signing bonus, you train them for seven weeks and then give them guns, and you have a militarized force running through the fucking city streets. This was NOT a mistake. This was a deliberate voter suppression tactic that was deployed with the hopes that no one would notice. First: We need an immediate influx of help to get these registrations processed before Monday. Second: We need a ROBUST process to ensure that anyone who votes using a provisional ballot is able to track and confirm that their vote was tallied. Third: We MUST vote in numbers that exceed the suppression gap. Fourth: Once the election is over, I want to see an immediate investigation launched into who knew what and when - starting with the question of why the state’s top election official (Sec. of State) abruptly resigned only a couple of months before this election, only to be replaced by Greedy Greg’s handpicked election-denying, tin-foil-hat-wearing lackey? My wife was just grocery shopping and she met this nice couple that moved from Austin. The lady said "We are voting for Talarico because he's going to lower prices for everyone." My wife said "did you know he said there are six genders and God is nonbinary?" The lady was shocked. She said she is a Christian and will not vote for Talarico.

Today Trump clarified what he meant when he posted on Truth Social that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an energy ceasefire, after both sides denied agreeing to anything. Trump said they agreed because "I said you agree, that's why." In other words, Trump simply imagined a deal.

BREAKING 🚨 The Federal Government just declared a POWER GRID EMERGENCY across 13 states + D.C... Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia... and Washington D.C. The Department of Energy just issued an emergency order to PJM, the grid that powers 65 MILLION people... running Oct 13 through Oct 16. Continued HOT temperatures are straining the grid... so power plants are now allowed to run PAST their pollution limits just to keep the lights on... And as a LAST RESORT before rolling blackouts... PJM can force data centers and other big power users off the grid and onto their backup generators. The grid could have as little as ~900 MW of cushion left... This is NOT normal.
