Hi X-Twits, time to reintroduce myself. I've been away from Twittex for a few years. But now I'm baaaack. I'm gearing up to publish my series which has taken me 547 years to complete (well, books 7 & 8 still to edit😬) Lots of new faces, #writers, so pls, follow earns a follow!🙏
Does your book follow the classic 3-Act structure?
Or did you abandon all the rules and run wild?
I ran wild from the get go and didn't even know it. Now I sit trying to rein in the makings of my chaos.
The day after I finished writing my 5-book medieval fantasy series was the day I realised I had actually written an 8-book medieval fantasy series. The original five were massive! 200k+ words each. Who do I think I am, right? Leo Tolstoy?
So what's your milestone/goals for Christmas?
Finish your first draft?
Finish the editing?
Publish the thing?
Open page one and start typing?
WHAT IS IT 😊
Yes!!!! Work has ended and I'm out the gates to get to the weekend!🎉🥳🎉 As Bean would say: 'It's a rrrace! 🤩 Lol

Criminal-turned-detective Abby Lunay is faced with deceit, treachery, betrayal, and wrath… and that’s just the lawyers at the firm where her girlfriend works! The killer is (arguably) worse. And now Abby's in jail. #Mystery #Comedy #Detective #Romance amazon.com/dp/B0HHTDMPJB
What's more annoying at work:
A worker who constantly comes in below expectations.
Or a worker who's expectations are such that if you don't meet them you'll be snubbed.
I've walked both sides of this, and either way I feel constantly misconstrued.
Come on! Tell us which sentence in your editing today is giving you a headache.
Or which character?
Or is it a comma?
Most importantly how are you solving it?😊
Morning,
Have you ever written a single scene that eventually developed into five chapters?
I have. It's some of the funnest funn that I ever got from writing my first drafts - just going with it.
Morning morning,
Writers: Do you write so that every chapter has a hook at the end to keep enticing the reader back?
I notice a lot of TV shows are like this.
The fantasy element in my books is gentle in my first book, but eventually fully blooms by the 6th book.
How would you like your fantasy in books? Drip fed? Trickled into the story slowly?
Or do you want it to slam you in the face from page 1?
Honest question about my profile picture. I like it but what do you think of it? It was made in 2020 before the world got going with AI. Someone asked me if they could make a nice design out of a photo, obviously for some $$ and naive me, at the time, said 'Yeah okay why not.'
Happy Sunday everyone. I hope it was a relaxing day or productive day for you - whichever you wanted for yourself.
You know what!
What's NICEST thing that you did for yourself this week?😍
You know what?
I'm spun out. I've been doing queries & building up marketing content & mapping out my book launch as a whole project - putting off the fact I still need to edit books 7 & 8.
But editing is the part I love! That's where my passion lies. I want to get back to it.
Dinner is served!
Trying a new recipe tonight. Brazilian Moqueca De Peixe 🤩
It's like a fish stew. I've taken liberties to add some spinach leaves and a beer!
Ohhh now to sit my arse and indulge whilst seeing what's on TV Could this Saturday be any better😍
Work is done. I can go play now!!
Out for a meal and then a comedian show. Great way to start things off!!
How are you starting your Friday evening off?? 🤩
Goooooood morning!!!!!
Have a coffee, have a muffin, have a cat, have some sun, or some rain if that's what you prefer. Have some fun and DON'T work yourself to death. Okay?
Just have a good day!
