We are coming up on another month of radio silence from @AMCTheatres. I have not gone to see a movie at their theaters since bc of my annoyance and frustration. Went out of my way to see Wicked at another theater group.
DO NOT GIVE A GIFT CARD TO @AMCTheatres! I received a gift card and used it ONE TIME (approx $36 spent out of $100). Since then, the gift card balance has been reduced to $0 for charges made by someone else. I reached out Oct. 10 (8 weeks ago) and this has yet to be resolved.
Guess what! They needed MORE info (they wanted a pic of card. I already told them it was digital). I responded with the info I had including a screen shot of the purchase. No word. I avoid gift cards these days, but this exp has really put me off of @AMCTheatres all together.
I called @AMCTheatres customer service. They said I needed to email their gift card team. I did that on Oct. 10. I received and automatic email that I responded to with the extra information they needed. No word. Emailed again on Oct 31. Finally got an email on Nov. 25.

April 3 - MLK Jr. rallied the people for the last time. The day he said he hoped for a long life - and the next day his would be cut short. He described the “inseparable twins” of racial & economic injustices. They are issues we are still fighting today nearly 60 years later.
"The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today...the cry is always the same: 'We want to be free.'"
Martin Luther King Jr gave his last speech, 'I’ve been to the mountaintop' #OnThisDay in 1968. King was murdered the day following the speech.

I am just hearing about this story. I wish I was surprised by Pat McAfee, but I am not. I clicked the link, but it was long after the fact. Is there somewhere i can listen to your segment?
Hey @AEJMC, can we have our annual conference in Boston one of these years? 2030 looks like a good year!
I still feel sad about this. I am still shocked by it.

It was a wonderful day with my parents, so that was part of it! Everyone was in good spirits - CMs, park goers. Also, in the a.m., it was pretty empty bc ppl with small children were at the hotels doing traditional Christmas mornings while we enjoyed the park. P.S. Miss you too!
Both women who have been governors in Alabama now have something named after them on Troy's campus! That is pretty cool.
