Like many of my fellow educators, I am leaving this platform. My conscience is screaming at me to leave. I cannot support - in any way - an organization owned by Elon Musk. I hope you'll join me on BlueSky at @writeideas101.bsky.social . See you there!

With the historic nomination of Kamala Harris at this week's DNC, this week's #APSeminarChallengeArticle (#8) seems particularly appropriate, @BNSS AP Seminar students. If you get a chance, catch some of the speeches. Watch as history is being made. ti.me/4dGMoCW
This week's #APChallengeArticle #7 is a bit longer but explores an important issue and demographic that is significantly impacting politics, elections, & democracy in the U.S., but increasingly in Canada as well. Happy reading, @bnss AP Seminar students!

Agreed! It’s one of the best parts of this career!
It means so much when former students come by to visit you (some annually) and even more stay in touch in their adulthood. So proud to see who they have become, not so much career accomplishments rather as a person (and some of them becoming parents).

This week's read sheds light on some of the darker aspects of avocado farming, @BNSS AP Seminar students. Certainly makes avocado toast less appealing! #APSeminarChallengeArticle #6
