most leverage punishes patience margin calls, funding fees, decay. @2FactorFinance is built the other way. junior holds ~1.33x btc with no liquidations capped beta on base, not advice chat.2factor.finance/durable…

the part of @2FactorFinance i keep rereading is held as long as you want most leverage comes with a clock. this one is built to be kept, and btc only for now means it's early, not finished not advice

Kelly-optimized leverage has arrived. For those who don’t already know, this is leverage that’s made to be held for long periods of time. Developed in 1956, Kelly sizing has been used by professional investors for decades to maximize long-term compounded growth. Regular investors never had an easy way to access it. Maintaining the leverage target took work, and financing was expensive. @2FactorFinance tackles both: it manages the leverage target and sources financing from investors who want stable yield instead of from shorts. Financing costs about 75% less than conventional alternatives, with no liquidations. Built to be held, not traded. They're backed by Coinbase Ventures and Pantera, and have also received support from Brian Armstrong. Their Points Program is now live. The top 10 on the final Season 1 leaderboard split 1 BTC, and your Season 1 Marks carry over into Season 2. Sign up through my link for a points boost: points.2factor.finance/k/rou…

most leverage is built for people who trade. this one is built for people who hold that’s a different problem and it needs a different design

a leverage design that admits it can lag spot in a bear is one i'm willing to read
More Bitcoin than you own, held as long as you want, with no price that takes it away from you. Stocks next. 2factor.finance

part 1 of 3 the idea behind 2factor isn't brand new, and i think that's a point in its favor i joined the @2FactorFinance program here points.2factor.finance/r/ca3… after reading where the design comes from

part 2 of 3 the paper says volatility segmentation generalizes the tranche approach first proposed in the SPOT protocol, which started as a stablecoin mechanism both sit on top of ButtonTranche, an on-chain tranching protocol

part 3 of 3 so the new part is applying a known structure to leverage, not inventing the structure from scratch that doesn't remove risk. btc only for now, capped beta on base, smart contract risk is real. not advice cc @2FactorFinance
friendly reminder that 2x and 3x aren't "more aggressive 1.33x" for btc the paper says the productive band closes around 1.6x. past that, drag eats the drift. that's why this one stays moderate by design @2FactorFinance
More Bitcoin than you own, held as long as you want, with no price that takes it away from you. Stocks next. 2factor.finance

the part that matters is "no price that takes it away from you" liquidation is the one cost nobody can size. here leverage can compress toward 1x, the position doesn't get closed out
More Bitcoin than you own, held as long as you want, with no price that takes it away from you. Stocks next. 2factor.finance

A big wallet moving coins is not the same as a sale. Same address can mean custody, a rebalance or someone actually selling. The chain shows the transfer, not the reason. I try to wait for the second move before I form an opinion Data tells you what happened

Introducing Primus Confidential Finance (dapp.primuslabs.xyz), where privacy meets transfer and yield on-chain. We're excited to announce a collaboration between Primus @primus_labs, Unitas @UnitasLabs, and United Stables @UTechStables to launch a Confidential Finance Product on @BNBCHAIN, powered by the Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technique. This isn't just another confidential transfer or on-chain vault. It's a new standard for how private, compliant, and capital-efficient on-chain finance can work. 🧵

1/ a useful way to understand @2FactorFinance is to look at who wants each side i joined the program here points.2factor.finance/r/ca3… some want amplified btc exposure via BTC-Jr. others want BTC-Sr, a more insulated profile

3/ so what senior gets paid isn't appearing from nowhere it comes from matching different preferences inside one system. one side accepts more volatility for more upside, the other gives up some exposure for more stability

4/ my take: this is one of the most important parts of the design it turns differences in risk appetite into a functioning internal market not advice. capped beta on base, smart contract risk is real cc @2FactorFinance
btc etfs took in $21m on friday the day before they lost $244m a small green day after a big red one isn't a trend wait for more than one print

Most platforms make you pick a lane. Casino people stay in casino, sports bettors stay in sports, prediction guys stay in markets. What I noticed on @PlayOnMint is that all three feed the same XP, and XP feeds one Season 1 rank. So a night of football and a few prediction positions counts toward the same ladder as slots. I think that changes how people play. You stop treating each product like a separate app and start thinking about where your next hour of activity earns the most. Different experiences, one scoreboard. Feels like the rank is the real product here
