Just kinda messing around. AI Capture @NotionHQ (creators of Meeting Notes).

I work on the AI capture team at Notion, the first question is “what the hell is capture?” It’s honestly things like this. It’s how do I help someone make it easier to put their life in Notion. How do we make it better for you as a second brain. Good interfaces are crucial
iPad people, this one’s for you. Before, our iPad app was mostly a web view. Now, we’re rebuilding it natively! → Sidebar and inbox → Notion AI and search → A new editor (coming soon) And on iOS 27, you can ask Siri to find or create a page, start an AI chat, or record meeting notes.

I don't use an IDE anymore. I don't use github (visually), I don't use a cli, I don't even use localhost. I use Notion. I literally code Notion in Notion. All day. This is the first of some of the largest reliability ships you'll see this month. Stay tuned, we sure are.
Big update today: We've meaningfully upgraded our AI capabilities inside Notion. You can now do much more complex things (computer + browser use!), let the AI run much longer (up to 24 hours!), and do all of this in a much more secure setup. We've also overhauled our pricing and packaging. Instead of having different products on different versions of our plans, all AI capabilities now run on credits. The vast majority of you will never have to think about credits because a) you'll have plenty to use each month, and b) the new auto-mode makes things an order of magnitude more efficient. Our most advanced users will now have the flexibility to choose the best intelligence-to-price option. This includes bringing your ChatGPT subscription, using your own tokens (via BYOK), leveraging MCP, or buying credits from us (only when the math makes sense!). The credit model is similar to what several other companies (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor) have adopted over the past year. We're adopting it today so we can keep bringing you the most advanced AI capabilities while giving you more control over what you use and what you spend. I shot a quick video to explain all of this, and I'll be on the Twitters all day answering your questions:

Still firmly believe as an engineer you get paid to discuss the system All the code written for Notion Meeting Notes is AI I’m also very confident everyone on my team is equipped to discuss the system system > code is intentional
Some observations about the "total" automation of software engineering: 1. There are more software engineers now than in 2025, and demand is growing. 2. Software engineers have never worked harder than they do now. 3. They largely don't write code anymore, agents write ~100% of the code. 4. The bottom line of the companies that employs these engineers and agents (i.e. the terminal purpose of all this code) is typically not budging as a result of AI adoption. This is why you have to think in terms of systems. Automating one aspect of a system creates its own friction and moves the bottlenecks elsewhere.

wait...are the new regs in f1 being forced through to get tesla on the grid????
At this point I have no idea why @Tesla doesn't have an F1 team. (Except maybe because it just wouldn't be fair to all the other teams.) But I think we'd all love to see this happen @elonmusk.

Eh I mean the moat was never the product, it's the R&D system that guarantees the next thing is going to be better than the previous thing OP is admitting they were trying to copy their competitors anyways, timelines have compacted but fundamentals have not changed
people are starting to realize. there *are* no moats left. the only true moat in existence was intelligence, and now that's out of the equation.

Better contrast for those who need it; beauty for everyone 🖤 Thank you @nikhilville for the opportunity to speak on overhauling the design system to support high contrast mode, and the experience of unexpectedly time traveling to the simple delights of the 1984 Macintosh.

This update feels legitimately magical, it’s the architecture we wish underpinned all the changes on the internet
We upgraded our Version History: → See highlighted diffs on every edit → Review row-level database changes → See who (or which agent) made them → Restore an earlier version in a click Every change across pages and databases is now logged in real time.
