Today, @Parliament_Ug hosted the inaugural East African Children’s Summit on Climate Change, themed “Children Leading East African Integration: Climate, Peace and Prosperity.”
Their asks are clear: safe schools and safe water, early warnings in the languages children speak, protection for girls and boys when disaster strikes, and a permanent children’s platform at the EAC.
They want the EAC to carry their voice to the AU and #COP31.
A child can’t learn, play, or dream on an empty stomach.
This World Food Day, we reaffirm our commitment to walking alongside families as they put food on the table in lasting ways🍛

Today is #GlobalHandwashingDay, and @WorldVisionUg stands with the global community to mark it.
Children from Abim District, Karamoja, are at the centre of the celebration at Katwe Market in Kampala, with an exhibition of hand hygiene products they are trained to make.
The Creator of the universe personally "knit" you together, shaping your personality, your gifts, and your purpose with absolute precision.

In Eastern Uganda, Rev. Dr. Juliet Wabwire reminded our staff that God gave us love, so we give it. "Don't fellowship with your challenges; fellowship with God." We are agents of life and the hands of God, and He has the final say.

Our theme for this Financial Year, 2027 is drawn from John 3:16. Prayer is at the heart of what we do.

With an investment valued at USD 10.5 million, the Area Programme has reached over 60,000 beneficiaries, delivering sustainable development outcomes across the target communities.
