Two weeks after launch, @NASAWebb has hit its next biggest milestone: the mirrors have completed deployment and the next-generation telescope has taken its final form.
Next up for Webb? Five months of alignment and calibration before we start getting images:

It’s official— At 942mb this storm is now the strongest in the NE Pacific. Broke previous record set by a storm in 1977. #BombCyclone – at Medford, OR
Well, it looks like this low has reached it's lowest pressure at 942.5 mb. Luckily, our buoy 46005 ended up nearly in the center of the low so we were able to watch the pressure decrease this morning.
