If your webcam appears frozen to others in @Workadventure_ (or other apps) and you use @Firefox 154+, you are hitting a Firefox regression, not a network problem. We spent the week on it and found the cause. Workaround for now: use Chrome, Edge or Safari. Details below 🧵

Self-hosters: in case of future issues, set SECURITY_EMAIL in your .env and keep telemetry on. That is how we warn the affected installations directly, instead of hoping this X post reaches you.

Oopsie. At 17:36 UTC, an incident in the datacenter hosting WorkAdventure took down 3 servers at once. While the setup hosting WorkAdventure is self-healing, it took a bit of time for the new servers to start and heal the cluster. Service was restored at 18:10 UTC.

We have been notified that since last Tuesday update, users of @vivaldibrowser and @brave could not hear conversations anymore.
We are looking at this autoplay issue. In the meantime, switching to @googlechrome and @firefox will solve the issue.
