I hate when grocery stores ask me to donate to end world hunger at checkout. I’m standing there trying to figure out how my groceries somehow cost $150, & a multibillion-dollar corporation is asking ME to contribute more money. How about YOU round up some of your profits instead?
Shower thought:
If sleeping at work is stealing company time, isn't thinking about work at home unpaid labor?
Workplaces should let their introverted employees do their jobs in peace. Not everyone wants to take part in every team-building activity, attend every office event, or socialize with coworkers after work. Some of us just want to show up, do our jobs, get paid, and go home
The best thing you can learn early in your career is that no company will ever truly care about you. Do your job, collect your paycheck, and go home. Work as little as you need to get by and don’t give them a single extra second of your life
