Hall effect keyboards and mice have seen an increase in usage by pro players over the past years. With the rising popularity, issues with metal/magnetic desks increase too. Players should be aware and be able to compete on the highest level without worrying about peripheral issues.
We explain exactly what causes this in this blog: wooting.io/post/when-magnets…
Earlier today, our technical teams identified the source of the mouse and input problems players experienced on stage at Champions Shanghai.
The cause was conductivity issues from the material of the desks. A fix was implemented, and we did not experience any further disruption during pre-match tech checks or the matches.
Competitive integrity comes first. We’ll continue monitoring throughout the event and will share further updates if needed.

With #VALORANTChampions Shanghai almost starting, we thought it was time to see what the world's best @ValorantEsports players are using in their attempt to take the title.
Interesting results, or to be expected?
the 60HE v2 and 80HE both have 8k polling, so speed wise theyre the same.
The v2 was also made to be kinda on par with the 80HE, so in general it should be a layout preference 🤗
