At the demo, a former care leaver now a kinship carer says: "I used to think kinship carers had it easy compared to foster carers as they are family, but we were so wrong. The lack of support given to kinship care versus foster care is astounding and heart breaking!"

At Scottish Parliament with @Sckinship. 10 years ago they won a ruling that all LAC (looked after) & former LAC kids in kinship care should get the same support as kids in foster care. This has NEVER happened & 10 years on there's still no parity for kinship with foster carers.
