Turning the Tide on Women’s Healthcare in America
Celebrating a major milestone in federal healthcare policy. Thank you to @POTUS and the @FLOTUS for their dedicated leadership in championing women’s health and establishing the new White House Women’s Health Task Force.
By elevating women's health research at the NIH and making maternal health a core national priority, this Executive Order addresses decades of underinvestment. Right now, women across the country—especially in rural communities—are struggling to access essential prenatal, postpartum, and lifelong primary care.
Addressing these maternity care deserts and projected provider shortages requires decisive leadership from the very top.
Creating a dedicated office and Task Force within the White House ensures that women's health is no longer an afterthought, but a central pillar of American healthcare strategy.
I am deeply grateful for this commitment and look forward to supporting initiatives that expand care access, reduce healthcare costs, and save lives from a woman's teen years through menopause.

📣 I am pleased to announce that our new research paper, "The Unmonitored Interval: What Public Discourse Reveals About Post-Surgical Experience and Digital Tracking in Endometriosis and What It Cannot Measure," is now live as an open-access preprint on SSRN (Elsevier).
In endometriosis, the conventional 10% prevalence statistic functions as a structural floor derived from diagnosed cohorts, not a true population census. While surgical intervention is common, standard postoperative care typically concludes after a single six-week visit. Electronic health records document encounters and billing, leaving the symptom trajectory across the subsequent interval unobserved. We call this the Unmonitored Interval.
To examine how patients experience this void, we conducted a qualitative thematic analysis of 326 unique post titles from endometriosis communities alongside 550 low-rating reviews of a commercial cycle-tracking application across 14 countries.
Post-Surgical Discourse: Surgical or post-surgical experience was the largest coded category, comprising 25% (n=80) of community titles, followed by acute pain or flares (13%, n=44) and abnormal bleeding (6%, n=18).
Missing Baselines: Rather than asking how to reach a clinician, patients frequently asked peers to interpret their symptoms. That is what happens when individuals lack both scheduled clinical contact and a personal longitudinal baseline.
Commercial App Friction: Low-rating application reviews clustered heavily on paywalls, billing practices, and subscription changes, with 72% of reviewers located outside the United States. Because the sample was restricted to low ratings, these complaints are expected and cannot be read as evidence of broader user preference.
A note on scope: This paper is a preliminary preprint and has not been certified by peer review. It describes patterns in public discourse and identifies a systemic measurement gap. It does not claim to fill it.
Filling this gap requires prospective, continuous data capture and clinician-documented outcomes. That study is specified in a forthcoming companion protocol paper.
And it is why we built what comes next. Rhythm by Womb WatchAI® is set to launch publicly next week, designed for the interval everyone else ignores. I could not be more excited to put it in women's hands.
The full preprint is available to read and download on SSRN: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…

👉🏼We are using this platform as a catalyst to change that shifting the culture from passive awareness to active, data-driven research.
👉🏼Every data point we gather contributes directly to the body of research needed to truly understand this chronic condition, close the funding gap, and drive real investment into better care. It starts with acknowledging the sheer scale of the prevalence, and it continues by using technology to demand better.

Women are living longer—but not healthier.
Behind this reality is a system that has historically under-researched female biology, dismissed symptoms, and delayed diagnoses—often by years. linkedin.com/posts/womb-watc…

7–10 years. ⏳ That’s the average wait for an Endometriosis diagnosis. Not because it’s rare—because the system isn’t built to catch it.
