April Fools? Not when it comes to gender-based violence. Today, members of Toronto’s Gender-Based Violence and Intimate Partner Violence Working Group have planned a Day of Action to release a Joint Statement drawing attention to the implications of the elimination of the Federal Minister of Women and Gender Equality.
