Will be intrigued what the Wolves do with the final 2-way spot.
I think this is the right move. Wasn’t overly impressed with Freeman and he’s already 26 years old.
If Donte can return this year, the Timberwolves rotation is:
Ball
Edwards
McDaniels
Kuminga
Gobert
Bench:
6. Dosumnu
7. DiVincenzo
8. Shannon Jr.
9. Beringer
10. Lyles
11. Clark
12. Hyland
That’s a pretty elite playoff rotation especially if they add a vet buyout big
This Pacers broadcast makes me thankful that we have a really good broadcast crew with the Wolves.
Quinn Buckner is really bad…
Chris Finch’s early bench rotation
6th: Ayo
7th: TSJ
8th: Beringer
9th: Lyles
Along with the starters, these were the nine guys to play in the 1Q
This offense is PUSHING the ball down the court off rebounds.
Love the early looks of the Wolves pace. Utilizing their size and athleticism to their advantage.
The Vikings only have three offensive drives of 50+ yards this season.
At what point do we start holding Kevin O’Connell accountable?
Disappointed at the Wolves DAZN pricing, especially after the negative feedback when they signed the deal.
Let the noise die down before they dropped $20/month on us.
This completely shuts casual fans out from growing their fandom. Only the die-hards are paying this price.
Highway robbery…
The Pacers promoted half-off at $60 for the season if you subscribe early, so hopefully that’s in the hopper for the Wolves.
$20 a month just to watch the Wolves (vs. Wolves and Wild) is not affordable for many households.
Pricing for Timberwolves games on DAZN this season…
Regular package: $20 a month, $120 for the season.
Ultimate package: $25 a month, $140 for the season.
Among perks for the ultimate package is the ability to be watching in two different places (on up to 5 devices), whereas the regular package can be watched in only one location (on up to 3 devices).
15 games will be available for free on the app. Those 15 games will also be broadcast over the air on a local TV station (not yet announced).
Pacers on DAZN is officially here 📺
Fans can enjoy a 7-day free trial and 22 free games, plus get the the early bird Standard Season Pass through October 19 to bring the cost to about $1 per game this season.

Back where he belongs. Was never going to make the roster with the Wolves
NEWS: Former Purdue player Trey Kaufman-Renn has been granted another year of eligibility after winning his TRO in Indiana, per @nwbaird
Regardless of the trade return for Josh Green, not having to waive-and-stretch him and eat $4.75 million over each of the next three seasons is a massive win for Tim Connelly.
Cody Williams is a developmental piece who is worth a flyer for the Wolves.
Likely won't be better than our 12th man, so I'd only expect garbage-time minutes from him.
Has a team option at the end of this season, so can cut ties easily if he doesn't take a step forward.
The average age of the Timberwolves roster is just 25.0 years old, with Gobert (33), Lyles (30), and DiVincenzo (29) being the only players born before 2000 🤯
Look for the Wolves to add some veteran leadership with their final roster spot.
Newest Minnesota Timberwolves G/F Cody Williams is the brother of OKC Thunder All-Star Forward Jalen Williams.
The two brothers will matchup on Christmas Day 🎄
Well, at least he got a trip to Paris out of it 😂
Josh Green
July 2026 - August 2026
Gone, but not forgotten 🫡
Waiving and stretching John Konchar opens up a veteran minimum spot on the roster.
If the Wolves look to fill that spot, I would keep an eye on some veteran bigs:
- Kevin Love
- Kelly Olynyk
- Drew Eubanks
- Dwight Powell
- Tony Bradley
The Timberwolves are expected to keep Cody Williams, the No. 10 pick in 2024, and waive-and-stretch John Konchar, sources said. They found a home for Josh Green on a Jazz team that wanted an additional 3-and-D wing; moving his $14.7 million deal gives Minnesota the salary space to sign Jonathan Kuminga using the taxpayer midlevel exception.
John Konchar is one of the best rebounding guards in the NBA.
Over his 7-year career, Konchar averages 8.2 REB (2.3 OREB) per 36 minutes.
That 8.2 REB ranks behind only Josh Hart and Russell Westbrook among guards, while his 2.3 OREB leads the NBA.
So much for that 😂
