This staff would totally play both.
#Michigan HC Kyle Whittingham says they aren’t going to tip their hand, but have a good plan in place for who’s starting vs. Indiana this weekend.
Major respect for Underwood’s character following the Carr TD. No matter what happens count me as someone who will support his career wherever it goes.
Stretch the field, and then an explosive run for a score. Amazing how that works. (Offensive Coordinating 101)
Sigh…
#Michigan HC Kyle Whittingham says they still plan on sticking with the Rhino position heavy in this offense.
He adds he sees advantages it brings to the offense especially the additional physicality.
Trying to decide if it is more frustrating to have an offense like Michigan or a defense like the Lions…
Anthony is right here. As with other dark times in the program, it isn’t that there are problems. It is that they don’t seem to understand what it is or how to fix it.
Whitt and Beck are in way over their head.
Success with this offense really isn’t difficult…
-Spread them out to open lanes for QB run game. Get rid of Rhino outside of goal line.
-Use your NFL talent, focus on power, duo, and downhill blocking concepts in the running game. Stop the east/west. Work in QB run game.
I love Michigan football, but I hate this team. Excruciating to watch. Terrible play calling, no discipline, when one guy makes a play, another makes a costly mistake. Whittingham seems aloof and disconnected.
Nothing is easy, everything is a struggle.
There are so many parallels between the 15’ team and this one. Good base of talent and established coaches trying to figure everything out. As disappointing as Iowa was, it was a step in the right direction.

The defense stood tall with this goal line stand as time expired to preserve our 29-26 victory on Halloween night.

Michigan playing with their food a little as we get late in the 2nd Quarter. Should be 21-0. They are much much better than Iowa, but penalties, Special Teams, and bad 4th down call keeping it close.

There is no way I would have bet on Justin Verlander still coming out to the mound in the sixth inning prior to this game. I was scared for him just in the first inning not to get beat up right away. This has been more than impressive. Legendary really.
I won’t find peace as a Michigan fan until Underwood is gone. This should be a high powered offense and it moves like a high school team. Incredibly frustrating.
Cant tell me they wouldn’t be better off with Carr.
