Everyone at Westcliff-on-Sea Cricket Club is devastated to learn the news about the young girl who passed away at Chalkwell Park on Saturday afternoon
Our condolences and thoughts go out to the little girl’s family, we cannot begin to imagine the pain they must be going through
Players, members and spectators from not only WOSCC but our visitors that day Old Brentwoods and our neighbours Leigh-on-Sea Cricket Club and their opponents Redbridge CC, along with all the members of the public who did all they could in the rescue effort.

A few early batting shots from @WoScricket vs Old Brentwoods at Chalkwell Park this afternoon. The hosts looked on their way to a decent total when I had to leave to rejoin @CJPhillips1982 Charity Challenge.
