Was in Houston last night talking to many otherwise informed and smart people about the election. 2 trends emerged. The amount of disinformation and just wrong facts about key issues AND a self soothing delusional belief that "everything will be fine" and that the system will hold and Trump "won't be that bad."

I'm pretty sure this happened 5 or 6 years ago. The farmers couldn't get anyone to work for the farms at relatively low wages nor even higher wages, job was too hard. After a bunch of crops failed to be harvested, states expedited some green cards to get some known workers back.
Saying that as one who's gone thru trauma (like many) & had great therapists who helped me process my anger & grief.
Saying this as a blue brother watching out for my village
