I ran the Old Kingdom Kemetic potter from Nuwayrat under African-centered SNP ascertainment panels and got this result. Over half of the genome(52.8%) is Kerma-related, which aligns with the archeological and historical linguistic evidence. About a third is East African forager-related, and about a fifth is linked to the Great Lakes region, contemporaneous with the Kansyore culture. When you correct for Eurasian sampling bias, this specimen comes out 100% infra-saharan Afrikan and we shouldn't be surprised.
