I contend that 11 stars is neither coincidence, trivial, nor unintentional, despite what a sudden littany of coordinated posters would try to make the more guilless readers among us believe.
There were several Confederate flags produced during the civil war.
The most beloved one was, and in some circles still is, reverently referred to as the"stars and bars".
It had 11 stars which represented the first 11 states to secede from the Union:
South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
An original 11 state "stars and bars" flag is among the most prized and sought after symbols of Confederate pride, rebirth, and unity, in certain circles.
