Do you own every Witcher game? As a GOG affiliate you can support the content I make by purchasing games from them using my links. They frequently have sales and as I am writing this everything is around 80% off. Side note, I really love GOG (they are owned by CD Projekt Red) and I have made every video on my channel using a Witcher 3/2 copy I bought on their service. They also preserve a bunch of old games, making sure we can continue to play them even as our systems get more advanced. I really recommend them. The correct way to acknowledge Tolkien's influence
«Tolkien es la fuente de la que mana toda la fantasía moderna. Escribir fantasía hoy en día sin conocer la obra de Tolkien es como intentar dedicarse a la física ignorando a Newton y a Einstein. Se puede intentar, pero el resultado será ridículo.» 📚 Andrzej Sapkowski. #Tolkien

Is it worth playing? I loved the Indiana Jones game
Dove back into 007 First Light, and yeah it’s easily one of my favourite games released this year.

I feel like Halo might be the most mishandled franchise in gaming
Activision is expected to make a brand new, full mainline Halo title — not a remake or spin off game

My expectations were already high. After the preview event in London I knew it would do well. Well done to the team! @RebelWolvesDevs
For those of you that were excited to play Dawnwalker, and have now. Was it worth the hype that led up to it??

Really fun game, one of my top games in recent years. It’s like stepping into an Indiana Jones movie, they nailed it
A modern AAA game that did almost everything right, including separating itself from its peers in a creative way. It barely got rewarded for it. Everyone should play this game imo.

Lacra seems quite evil to me but you know I think that works for a certain playthrough style

I was given an interesting document with a bunch of lore from The Blood of Dawnwalker, some of which I haven’t seen appear in the game yet. If you’re interested watch it here! youtu.be/EI6ilpWQ-Jc?si=zFcI… #ad Sponsored by @BandaiNamcoUK

I'm actually fine with people picking Triss even if Yennefer is the choice that makes the most sense for Geralt following the books. Of course, as the games have Geralt lose his memory, go through a fair amount with Triss, and break his Djinn wish, I can still see a Triss angle

It really shouldn't be controversial
The controversial time mechanic in The Blood of Dawnwalker might not return in a sequel. Game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz says Rebel Wolves hasn’t decided yet and won’t force it into another game if it doesn’t fit the story. “We didn’t decide it, to be honest. We will play with it.” In Dawnwalker, players have 30 days and 30 nights to save their family, with quests and certain actions moving the clock forward. The mechanic has divided players, but Tomaszkiewicz says the team balanced it so you can still complete around 80% of the content in one playthrough. He says players are starting to realise they have more time than they expected: “They think that they have more time than they need, actually, and they can do more than they thought they could.” For future games, Rebel Wolves is exploring “some other crazy ideas” to make RPGs feel different.
