My hero, @MelBrooks, turns 100 today.
I could write an essay but in short, The Producers started my love affair with performing. His work has brought me endless joy and taught me so much. I owe Mel a debt of gratitude. A comedy genius of epic proportions. I adore him.

Many of you will know I’m the custodian of Eric Morecambe’s vent doll, Charlie. He’s desperately in need of gentle restoration to halt any further decay. I’d like him to survive for future generations. If you can spare anything, I’d be eternally grateful. gofund.me/f60ba54c

Thrilled to have won two iconic items at the Eric Morecambe auction; A gorgeous oil on canvas robin painted by Eric in 1966 AND his famous ventriloquist Doll ‘Charlie’ used throughout his career and randomly appeared in The Sweeney. All brilliantly executed by @HansonsUK

Just watching @CBeebiesHQ with the boy & saw @RealJackLane, it reminded me of the @WisdomFoolPlay we saw a few years back.. Incredible comedy actor and such an incredible tribute to the king of variety Norman Wisdom.. #talentedfolk – at Manchester, England

A happy owner of this incredibly rare, gold plated maquette of Graham Ibbeson’s famed statue of Eric Morecambe. 1 of 5 ever made. Awarded to Norman in 96, the only other recipients of this Comic Heritage Award were Victoria Wood, Thora Hird & Bruce Forsyth. He’s brining me much🌞

Something I loved about Barry; his unwavering support of new performers. He truly was the king of British comedy. It was an absolute joy to be in his company, immediately put you at ease. Genuinely privileged to have known him, huge loss to many of us. ♥️ to his family & friends

Wonderful to finally see this in print, @RobertWRossEsq. Brilliantly produced with many fitting contributors (Mr Benson included) I’m chuffed to be championing Eddie Leslie & Jerry Desmonde.

What a delightful & thoroughly well deserved end to this journey. Such generosity from the Wisdom family, rewarding @RealJackLane's dedication to Norman's life and work.

Today I had a call from Nick Wisdom. ‘Now, Jaqui & I have been talking and we both agree that we'd like you to keep the Gump Suit'. I nearly collapsed. I'm sincerely humbled by their generosity. Day 1 they were a tower of support. Truly grateful. It will be treasured ♥️
