opened up my favorite zcash project (@saplingdotcash, the first zcash-native launchpad) and $ZEC is all i see
magnificent
ZILLIONS
If you're writing smart contracts or building utility and have audited with @zauthinc, DM me because I want to buy your token.
If you're building and not auditing with @zauthinc or something comparable, respectfully, WHAT THE FUCK are you doing. This is the most dangerous age of all time to be writing code, and 1000x more dangerous to be writing code that handles money.
I keep seeing interesting new launches, I ask the builder if they've audited their code, and they say "yeah just ran it through claude at the end and asked if any problems."
THAT IS NOT AN AUDIT. THAT IS ASKING THE SAME AI WHO WROTE YOUR CODE TO TRY TO FIND A PROBLEM.
THAT IS LIKE ASKING SOMEONE WHO ONLY SPEAKS ENGLISH TO HELP YOU LEARN JAPANESE.
PHP's holes shutting down half the internet is the canary in the coal mine. Move fast and break things but wear a condom.
24 days ago sapling didn't exist, and @Zcash holders had no way to trade/trench straight from their zcash wallets.
today we submitted it to @DefiLlama. on yesterday's numbers it would rank:
- #3 privacy protocol by fees
- top 10 launchpad by revenue
- #5 launchpad by holders revenue
- #41 of 235 protocols across every chain by holders revenue
private money is the future. zcash is the money, sapling is how people start using it.
Today's events only reinforce how proud we are of the direction zauth is headed.
We are building the most powerful cybersecurity machine on the internet that ANYONE can use.
Something that currently costs 10's of thousands and weeks, will take hours and a fraction of the price.

FINALLY managed to get this absolute masterpiece @zksnarks_. Will be rocking this as my new pfp, super happy to snag this one at these prices.
IMO with $ZEC breaking out the snarks will see a lot of new cult members soon
one of the biggest blocks to financial innovation is how hard it is to write smart contracts safely
We’ve barely scratched the surface for what’s possible on a Blockchain largely because the people who can write our contracts and make them safe are under a few thousand in the world

In times like this, if you're a long term investor, you don't want to be waffling about being in or out, you want to be stacking units systematically. Don't get confused by the traders, it's a separate game.
On unit accumulation, depending on how long you've been in the game, it's helpful to think in "relative units" of the investment you did best with. I'll use $ETH because the math is easy and relates well to younger networks.
ETH has ~120M units. Let's say I once held 10 ETH.
Now I'm looking to stack $SOL, but SOL has ~636M units, or ~5.3x the # of units. Therefore, to have an equivalent position size in network terms, I'd need 53 SOL. If I want to own double the network % of SOL, that I owned of ETH, I'd need 106 SOL.
Or, perhaps I'm considering $TIA, which has ~1.16B total supply, or ~9.7x the # of units of ETH. In that case, I'd need 97 units of TIA to have a network equivalent. If I want to place a bigger network bet on TIA, because the network value is lower than when I entered ETH, then 10x the % ownership would require me to accumulate 970 TIA. 100x the % ownership = 9,700 TIA. Going for significantly more ownership, at cheap prices, if you're right, can lead to asymmetric outcomes.
$ZEC is another good example of this, since its supply mirrors $BTC's. And so it's easy to think of your "dream # of BTC," and aim to accumulate that in ZEC, if you're so inclined.
Pick your networks of choice, and do the math. I have always found thinking in unit terms keeps me grounded, optimistic, and goal oriented in dreary times. I can then dream about future upside in the thick of the bull, but the important thing is to systematically stack the units with a high conviction methodology in the bear or early-bull pullbacks.
In terms of where we are now, which is probably why most of you are still reading :) BTC has been bleeding out the long-tail while remaining resilient, with many names 20-40%+ down from the highs while BTC is down just shy of 10%. You can either say BTC has already bled the risk appetite out of the market and so most of the work is done, or you can say BTC hasn't dropped much so it'll be really terrible if it goes cliff diving. I'm sympathetic to the former view.
I read this as an early-bull opportunity rather than a warning sign that this move was a "bull trap," and so I'm inclined to be a buyer. You have to respect the possibility of lower levels, and so tranche out any dry powder that remains with % cash used corresponding to % probability those levels are the local bottom - yes, you likely end up with some excess cash if not all levels are hit, but that's okay. And don't forget, there's already opportunity in front of you.
If you’re building anything use this today
There is a word you can say.
And if you say it, a door opens.
The word isn't millions.
And it's not billions either.

Crypto in its value era, while AI is in its inflated token era.

apologies for the absence on here the past few weeks. i’ve been heads down on development and our client load instead of social media, but i’ll get back to posting more frequent updates. you can join the discord for direct contact with me and the team, link in the replies.
as some of you know, we’ve been privately auditing smart contracts for customers and for bounties over the past 3 months. i’ve spent over a month and thousands of dollars getting this software ready to release to the public. our smart contract auditor will work the same way as vector, our pentesting engine. self serve, no human intervention, priced per sloc. when it’s in my own hands i’m confident this is one of the most capable auditing models on the market, but full autonomy is the hardest part. it’s why auditing companies require sales calls and contact before any agreement, and it’s why audits are so slow and expensive. changing this workflow is the whole point of what we’re building at zauth.
right now i’m testing vector by feeding it historical hacks. we’re blind testing it against every major smart contract exploit that’s ever happened. if it wouldn’t have caught the vulnerability in an audit, our tooling isn’t good enough yet. we rewind the chain to the block right before each exploit and hand it the source that was deployed at that moment, with no answer key and no hints. it has to locate the bug and construct the drain under the same conditions the original attacker faced. identifying the type of bug is close to solved. the hard part is proving you can actually drain it. that means chaining the contracts together the right way, blind, on a real fork, and doing it reliably on large codebases. that’s where most of my effort is going.
we plan to release in two stages. evm first, currently covering ethereum, bsc, base, arbitrum, polygon, robinhood chain and more. solana will follow, since it has a completely different runtime and a different exploit model.
reinventing how security gets done is no small task, but if you look at what zauth has delivered over the past 10 months you’ll see why i quit my job and went full time on zauth. i am betting everything on us winning.
