I don't think development is solved. The main activity in development is having a clue about what to maintain and why it's important, and dealing with operational aspects. Writing a first prototype is solved. No doubt about that.

Every Member of Congress who voted for this disastrous piece of legislation must pay a price at the ballot box during the next election.
They do not deserve to be re-elected and they must be defeated.

Here's our last parody song about the #USElection2024. It's called "Bohemian Trumpsody" (based on the inimitable @QueenWillRock but with only six voices & no overdubs) & we've self-trolled in it as 'libtards' already, just to save folks time who might be offended 🎶🗳️🤞

React 19 greatly simplify vanilla data fetching
Previously we had to useEffect, handle race conditions, unmounts, loading/error state...
Now you just:
- store a promise
- read it within Suspense/ErrorBoundary
This makes a whole class of problems disappear

It is my informed, professional opinion that @astrodotbuild is the single best tool to use to build high-quality websites at this point in time, period.
Nothing else in the space comes close. Very thankful for @FredKSchott and his team who have worked so hard on this.

debugger freezes time, print freezes 'space'. sometimes you need to inspect the state of a system at a crucial moment, sometimes you need a birds-eye view. learn to wield both!

IMO everyone should take a moment today to read about + celebrate the life of John Goodenough:
- Served in WW2
- PhD with Enrico Fermi
- in his 30's, helped create RAM
- At 58, invented Lithium-Ion batteries
- At 97, oldest Nobel laureate ever
- Lived to 100, almost 101
RIP to a great man with the best last name any engineer should aspire to
