Martin Lewis died in obscurity in 1962; a retired art teacher who had found some success in his early career, but was largely forgotten.
Lewis spent his last three decades teaching other people how to etch. History chose Edward Hopper, but Martin Lewis was his mentor.

The Tory crackdown on peaceful protest extends to journalists being arrested and thrown into jail cells for doing their job.
This is the reality of the Tory police state.
Yesterday I was arrested by @HertsPolice whilst covering a protest on the M25.
I showed my press card, and I was handcuffed almost immediately. My phone was snatched out of my hand. I was searched twice, held in a cell for 5 hours, and I wasn’t questioned whilst in custody.

Last night we disrupted @pritipatel because her #Rwandaplan is cruel, morally bankrupt & it will cost lives.
We demand the Government drops this widely condemned policy & provides support for people seeking safety.
No matter where we come from, we all deserve dignity & respect

Yesterday the gang were treated to a brilliant photography masterclass from @WinramPhoto.
Laurence delivered an awesome presentation and set us a tricky photography challenge (which may have turned a little competitive...)
Check out some of his behind the scenes snaps👇

So…you’ve heard that the Webb telescope will be orbiting Lagrange point 2. But what even is that, anyway? And how do you orbit something that isn’t an object?
We’ve got you! Here’s a thread ⬇️

This retelling of the classic tale will use innovative theatrical and cinematic techniques to create a unique, hybrid live experience.
Audiences in Leith will experience the film being created around them before it is streamed to cinemas and then broadcast on Sky Arts in 2023.

Our Refill Project has proved to be very popular, in turn keeping our gin still very busy. Distiller Phil, is a bit camera shy but we caught him loading our specially selected botanicals into the still.
