Welcome to the Winning Students 100 class of 2026–27! 🎓🏅 This year’s cohort brings together some of Scotland’s most exciting student athletes – all pursuing sporting success alongside their education. 🥇 A title-winning performance from scholar Alex Medley! Huge congratulations to Alex, who claimed gold at the Poznań 2026 World Boccia Challenger. Currently ranked world No. 47, Alex continues to go from strength to strength on the international stage. 👏

A golden summer for our #WS100 rowers! 🚣‍♀️ 🥇 Josh Matthews won U23 World Championship GOLD in the Men’s Quad Sculls. 🥈 Grace Dawson claimed SILVER in the Women’s Quad Sculls. 👏 Freddy Foxwell finished 8th in the Men’s Double Sculls. Plus, Penny Irvine has been selected for the FISU World University Championships, while Isobel Clements continues to impress for Ireland with 🥈 and 🥉 on the World Rowing Cup circuit.
