On the night of October 1, 2017, a twenty-nine-year-old former U.S. Marine named Taylor Winston stole a white Ford F-150 pickup truck in Las Vegas.
By sunrise, that stolen truck had saved thirty human lives.
Winston, an Iraq War veteran, was dancing at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival when automatic rifle fire began raining down from the thirty-second floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel into a crowd of twenty-two thousand people.
After throwing his girlfriend over a fence to safety, Winston ran into the gravel parking lot right next to the kill zone.
Why did he not simply wait for ambulances to arrive? Because police perimeters and twenty thousand fleeing people had gridlocked the Strip, and victims with arterial gunshot wounds were bleeding to death on the grass with minutes left to live.
Winston checked the doors of parked trucks until he found a white four-door Ford F-150 with the keys tucked above the sun visor.
He dropped the steel tailgate, ran back into the gunfire, and used Marine combat triage to load the most critically wounded strangers into the truck bed and cab.
With bullets still cracking overhead, he floored the gas pedal, wove through the chaos to Desert Springs Hospital, handed the victims to emergency doctors, and immediately drove the blood-stained F-150 straight back into the gunfire for a second load.
Across two trips, he delivered roughly thirty critically injured Americans to the hospital in time to survive.
The next morning, Winston tracked down the truck's owner and texted him: "Hey man, I took your truck to drive people to the hospital. How can I give you your keys back?"
The owner told him to keep the peace of mind, and an Arizona dealership gave the Marine a brand-new Ford F-150 of his own.
Uniforms come off when a Marine leaves the Corps. The oath never does.

The lads on their mid term break tidied up three gardens this morning. Cut grass, cleared paths, dug out weeds and power washed outdoor spaces for older residents and young parents. 💪

I detained numerous illegal aliens with ICE hard-holds under Obama- who was a major Deporter-in- Chief. Why was it fine then but not now? Because Obama served as a mental pacifier for these clowns.

This is fun to watch. ICE should get their own 24/7 reality TV channel.

Wind/solar industrial complex are primary donors to Katie Hobbs, Kris Mayes, and Jonathan Nez, and pay for many attack ads against @andybiggs4az @votewarren and @EliCraneAZ
“During the Obama years, the solar industry was receiving hundreds of millions in subsidies directly from the American taxpayer. The Freedom Caucus fought hard to get them taken out of the Big Beautiful Bill, and now we’re seeing that they want to take out all of those members… They want Hakeem Jeffries as speaker.”
Freedom Caucus Fund executive director @AllisonJanel says green energy executives are out for revenge against the House Freedom Caucus members who fought to claw back hundreds of millions in Obama-era solar subsidies.

When I was going to school down in Tucson, I worked on ranches along the border to make ends meet. I saw what border ranchers had to deal with. Along with border ranchers Jim Chilton and John Ladd, I had a chance to talk about it with the Secretary last summer. @SecRollins was paying attention.
Protecting America’s borders means protecting America’s ranches.
Got a firsthand look at border security from the saddle alongside the dedicated men and women of @CBP Horse Patrol in Nogales, Arizona.
What happens at our border doesn’t stay at our border. Strong borders help protect our ranchers, livestock, food supply, and agricultural economy.
From patrolling rugged terrain and national forest lands to safeguarding American agriculture, the work of CBP, @forestservice, and @USDA_APHIS is critical to protecting our land, natural resources, and communities.
Grateful to those who ride the line, serve our country, and work every day to keep America safe.

Governor @katiehobbs is jealous.
She wanted to be the first to have a song for her about all the legendary landscape she is wrecking with industrial solar.

For sixteen years, military rules said U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Alwyn Cashe could not receive the Medal of Honor because officials in Washington did not realize enemy bullets were hitting his burning vehicle.
On the night of October 17, 2005, in Samarra, Iraq, a roadside bomb ruptured the fuel tank of his Bradley Fighting Vehicle and soaked Cashe from head to toe in diesel fuel.
Behind him, the steel rear door jammed shut with six young American soldiers trapped inside a furnace.
Inside an armored hull filled with live ammunition and burning diesel vapor, his men had less than ninety seconds before suffocation or ammunition cook-off, leaving Cashe zero time to strip off his fuel-soaked uniform.
Under enemy small-arms fire, Cashe climbed atop the hull to pull his driver from the flames, and his own diesel-drenched clothes ignited into a living torch.
With second- and third-degree burns covering seventy-two percent of his body and skin peeling from his hands, he reached back into the fire again and again until all six American soldiers and their interpreter were out alive.
When the medical helicopters landed, he refused to board until every single one of his men was loaded first.
His first four words to the nurses were: "How are my boys?"
That is what an American leader is made of.
