ALT Since 2017 we have been running Arcadia - a games festival in Dundee produced by Biome Collective. We were taken by surprise when it was announced to the press last week that the upcoming esports venue in Dundee is to be named Arcadia. To clear any confusion, we want to clarify that we have no involvement in this project and have not been approached about it. Our loyal audience built up over the years, as well as partners, have expressed their concerns about this matter. Although there are many games companies in Dundee there are few people or orgs in the games events space. It's disheartening that this decision has been made with no consultation with us. We want to welcome and celebrate more gaming initiatives, companies and events coming to Dundee, and in the first instance we seek to talk to the relevant partners in the project to get to the bottom of it. At the moment, it's important to get the word out, so we would really appreciate any support sharing this. Thanks, Arcadia team
