Hey Chuck, the package is $810 million. $567.4 million, 70% of it, is Refugee and Entrant Assistance. You left that account out of your post.
Another $24.9 million is migrant-student grants, $15 million is detention-alternative case management, and $10 million is citizenship grants. That’s about $617 million, or 76% of the package.
Your “K–12” line points to the migrant-student grants, not a general school-funding cut. “Small businesses” points to $10 million at MBDA. Where’s the clean-air research cut?

Trump is gleefully eviscerating programs and protections that help hardworking American families live a safe and healthy life, all while he continues to punish them with skyrocketing gas and grocery prices.
With this rescissions package, the Trump administration is illegally stripping nearly $1 billion in critical funding that supports kids, K-12 students, small businesses, and health and clean air research.
Americans are crying out for relief. Instead of ending his Iran war and tariff chaos that are driving up costs, Trump is rolling out the red carpet for our adversaries while stealing funds meant to help American families.

Social Security sends $100 billion a year to people with no identity.

🚨 FACT CHECK: As a state legislator Katie Hobbs spent years voting against income, corporate, capital-gains, inflation-indexing, and property-tax relief. In 2018 she co-sponsored a bill to double the gas tax (18¢ to 36¢). She also backed a 66% hike in the education sales tax. Those two proposals alone were estimated at more than $1 billion in new taxes!
As governor she vetoed full tax-conformity bills containing no tax on tips and overtime three times in 2026 (January, February, May). She had previously urged Arizona’s congressional delegation to vote against the federal bill those cuts came from. After Republicans forced the same provisions into the budget, she signed it and immediately started calling it “Hobbs’ $1.4 billion middle-class tax cut.”
Katie Hobbs is a fraud hoping Arizonans won’t check her record.

Elevance Health raised premiums on their consumers by as much as 24% after posting a $1.46 BILLION profit this year.
Katie Hobbs wants higher health care costs because that $$ is paying for her ads.
As governor, I’ve expanded access to healthcare by lowering prescription drug costs and eliminating a billion dollars in medical debt for almost 700,000 Arizonans.
Meanwhile, Biggs has repeatedly tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act and he gutted Medicaid, kicking hundreds of thousands of Arizonans off their healthcare.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah Melissa Holyoak says a federal grand jury indicted a former postal worker accused of discarding more than 300 mail-in ballots ahead of Utah’s June 2026 primary.
Holyoak says the investigation began after voters reported not receiving their ballots and county officials identified unusually low voter participation in the area.

The Constitution already says the Commander in Chief has to be a natural-born citizen. Makes sense. The person with the nuclear codes should not have a backup passport and a second allegiance.

“Homeless” is a propaganda word used to describe people on the street who are mentally ill or severely addicted to drugs. The word implies that this is someone who fell a little behind on their mortgage payment and they’re one job offer away from getting back on their feet, which is obviously false if you’ve ever tried talking to a “homeless” person in SF, LA, NY, Austin or anywhere else.
The honest reality is that we need to bring back asylums for extreme mental illness or drug addiction for those who are a serious danger to themselves or others.
