Wrote this before getting on a long flight back home from Prague. It was one $10,000 donation and a handful of smaller ones: about $10,100 total at donation time, a bit lower now as price has relaxed. Completely insane to raise ~3 years of server operating costs within 20 minutes from an anonymous donor. The Zcash community is amazing. Thank you again. To be clear: the treasury is specifically for server and infra costs, and that's fully covered. This isn't about needing more donations there. I posted fairly quickly because I didn't want the treasury to get over-funded. Separately, the rest of my work probably needs to become a self-sustaining business if I want to keep doing it properly. I'm looking into that now: ideas include sponsorships, a newsletter, and consulting for Zcash-space businesses. If the consulting path goes anywhere, I'll be transparent about how that's kept separate from what I cover here. For now, I'll keep building out the zecstats roadmap I've already laid out.
