@WILTSRPU After a call reporting a male threatening people with a knife in Swindon Town Centre, with the help of CCTV #RPU located the getaway push bike, which was later found outside an address, entry gained and male arrested. No more "have you got better things to do!"

WiltsRPU and 15 student officers joined colleagues from A&S for a road safety op in Bristol last week🚔 15 TORs and 6 FPNs were issued and several vehicles seized by Wilts officers👮 These ops help forces share expertise, develop future officers and reduce risk on our roads.

@WiltsRPU Located a vehicle of interest after it fled the scene of a joint operation with Trading Standards. Vehicle seized, along with suspected counterfeit tobacco worth several thousand pounds. Safe to say our four legged colleague was pleased with the result too. 🐕

Intel received this morning re: vehicle uninsured, no tax since 2025, and driver unlicensed. Located within 5 minutes, seized and recovered within 55 minutes. Not a bad hour’s work. No idea why there’s a green sticker on the plate marked “TDI” - must be a fashion thing...🤔

Another M4 stop. Vehicle had a long list of serious defects and no tachograph in use. Towing setup had no safety features, and the Yaris being towed had exposed cord. Driver claimed it had been checked by VOSA… 🤔 #DVSA stepped in ✍️ Action taken. @WiltsRPU #RoadSafety
