Yesterday, the High Court ruled that the Solicitors Regulation Authority does not have the power to see material subject to legal professional privilege.
As a result, law firms that drive abusive litigation like SLAPPs - or indeed other misdemeanours - at the behest of their clients cannot be scrutinised or sanctioned.

Read this story. Its unbelievable. The UK's last resort nuclear deterrent plan relies entirely on a single (yes just one) balloon carrying a transmitter to send final retaliatory instructions to our Trident submarines. The balloon just crashed and disintegrated over Yorkshire. The MoD won't say if was Russian sabotage.
