If I follow you, and I comment on your post and I get immediately spammed by fake Nigerian and African imposter accounts, I will delete my post and unfollow you. I remove these fake followers on the regular for that reason, and if you don't remove them following you and can't keep them from spamming your followers, you will lose engagement quickly. Sorry, but the fake accounts on here are super aggressive and annoying, and as much as I would love to follow you, it's just not worth the constant spam.
