Tom Wilkinson was as lovely in person as his performances suggest. And when I once invited myself to his home, he was as gracious a host as anyone could hope for. RIP.

Great news to end 2022:
Teen births have plummeted. Down over 75% since 1991, and ≈ equally among white, Hispanic & Black teens. Child poverty has also plunged.

In London, this company is saving Christmas trees by renting them.
You can rent a tree, and in January, the company will collect it and replant it in the ground.
You can rent the same tree every year, and once it's 7-feet tall, the tree "retires" and is planted in a forest.
