Quote of the day by Bill Gates
“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.”

His lies about the economy won’t work, the fear mongering from my former colleagues on the right will only get uglier, and, I don’t give a damn what he now calls it, that big, stupid ballroom has got to go. Today’s show.👇 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

JD Vance: "If you go back to every major conflict in human history, they all end with some kind of negotiation."
Lawrence O'Donnell: "No. They didn't.
WWII ended with ZERO negotiations."
How is Yale Law-educated JD Vance so f*cking stupid?

"Stories harmful to Israel—false claims that Israel caused a famine as a weapon of war, or that an Israeli air strike destroyed a Gazan hospital—are reported credulously and corrected slowly, if at all. Stories that discredit Israel’s enemies, such as about Hamas’s crimes against Palestinians in Gaza, are reported grudgingly, if at all." theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

I have an employee, Sarah, who has been my right hand for 6 years. She opens the shop, closes the shop, and treats the business like it's her own. Yesterday, she came into my office shaking, handing me a resignation letter. She said her mom was diagnosed with dementia and she needs to become a full-time caregiver because she can't afford a nurse. I tore up the letter. I told her, 'You are not quitting. You are on paid leave until you figure this out. Your job will be here, and your paycheck will hit your account every two weeks.' I’d rather take a hit to my profits than lose a loyal human being to a tragedy she didn't ask for.
Good people are hard to find, we have to protect them

Today I am urging @WaysMeansCmte Chairman @RepJasonSmith to place the FAIR BET Act on the committee calendar. Now is the time to fix the unfair 90% tax deduction for gambling losses that negatively impacts professional and casual players. See my full letter to the Chairman below.
