Four years ago today, on a cold Menlo Park morning, we launched Instagram Stories to the world.
Below are some of my final “internal only” stories before we hit launch for everyone else 👇
The reason I fell in love with and work in sports...is the Washington Post Sports section. Every morning I would open it, read the box scores, scan the articles, and learn. So much history. So much talent. Every young sports fan should have access to that.

Thank you Bob!
The voice of the Washington Nationals, Bob Carpenter, signs off for the final time. 🥹👋

14 years ago I joined Twitter. Miss what it was. Long for what it could be.
Still thankful for the many I have met and interacted with through the years. Thanks all.
I don’t post on here as much as I used to.
If you follow me on the other platforms, you know that we found out today that we will be having our first baby girl in May.
I can only hope that she will be born into a world with a woman as President of the United States.
This is huge! Threads is gaining so much momentum in the sports world (#MLBThreads, #NFLThreads…IYKYK), and now creators will be able to track their success on Gondola.
We have pressing news: we’re thrilled to announce Threads tracking on Gondola! Threads authentication is now available to all creators/brands, with Gondola PRO creators getting immediate access to credit their Threads content. Try it out now: gondola.cc/blog/33cc481db9e6…
Now how do we take this and fix the NBA All-Star game?
Man it’s fun when they all get together and it’s actually a competition.
But why is the image of Washington DC?
World No. 1 is on top of the podium again—but this time he’s wearing gold!
Scottie Scheffler’s dominant and historic season continues with another winning performance! It’s his seventh win in a season that will go down as one of the best in the modern golf era. #BeyondDriven
Be sure to check it out 👇. Super pumped to partner with @TexasLonghorns on this!
hint: we’re throwing a party tell your friends! make sure to start a @WhatsApp group to stay connected on Sunday and throughout the season 🤘

I started full-time remote work around 3 years ago this week.
Before I had a 1hour and 10 minute commute each way.
That’s about 1500 hours of commuting I’ve taken back in that time. 1500 more hours to spend with my young kids, help around the house, play with them before dinner
